Seminars and Retreats Inspired by the teachings of J. Krishnamurti in Germany (in English & German): June and September 2021
Theme: The Problem of Hurt and Conflict in our Relationships...
Introduction: Our whole life is expressed and manifested through a network of relationships: relationship with oneself, with our body, with our mind and thoughts, with our emotions and desires, with other human beings, with our partner and family, with nature and the whole universe. The ever-increasing global crisis that we are facing now is the outcome of the crises in our day to day relationships; all the chaos and suffering that we experience are due to the lack of understanding of oneself and one’s relationships. The world is what we are and relationship is a mirror in which we can see ourselves as we are. Human relationship can either be a ground of suffering or it can be turned into a ground for transformation… In this intensive seminar we are going to explore some of the fundamental questions that we all face as human beings:
· Why there is no real harmony and peace in our relationships?
· Is our life a series of psychological hurts or wounds from childhood till we die? Why do we get hurt?
· How can we allow these inward wounds to heal?
· Can we understand the root cause of conflict, fear and suffering in our relationships?
· What is true love and compassion in this process of self-knowing?
Program: This weekend retreat will take place in Mönchengladbach, a beautiful quiet city along Rhine river in western Germany from 18 - 20 June 2021. Program will include introductory talks, meditative dialogue and self-inquiry, experiment with silent listening, looking, communication and sitting quietly. The primary intention is that our entire session becomes a meditative process so that we can open up our hearts and minds and deeply listen and learn together. Questions relating to pleasure, hurt, conflict, crisis, image-making, trust, love and freedom in our relationships will be investigated deeply and openly together.
