A Special Residential Retreat at Centrum Savita, Winterberg-Niedersfeld: 9 - 11 Oct.
“Freedom is to be a light to oneself; then it is not an abstraction, a thing conjured by thought… Freedom from the very structure of thought is to be a light to oneself. In this light all action takes place and thus it is never contradictory.”— Krishnamurti’s Journal
We will be gathering for a deep meditative retreat inspired by J. Krishnamurti’s teachings from 9–11 October 2026 at Centrum Savita in Winterberg—a beautiful retreat centre held in the quiet embrace of the woods.
This residential retreat offers a rare opportunity to step away from our screen‑driven lives and meet one another in genuine presence. In a time when so much of our communication happens through devices, coming together in real life becomes especially precious. During these days, we will sit together, walk together, share meals, enjoy silence, and listen with our whole being. Our exploration will unfold through meditative dialogues and self‑inquiry arising from silence and the space of the unknown.
The theme of the retreat is Being a Light to Oneself, a core message in both Krishnamurti’s and the Buddha’s teachings.
This retreat is being facilitated by Mukesh Gupta and Konstantin Scheihing.
As seats are limited, please register as soon as you can.
