The Art of Living & Transformation - An Intensive Residential Retreat in Belgium: 14 - 18 September 2022
Belgium Retreat in Maria Aalter 2022
The Belgium Retreat supported by the Leer Project will take place in the beautiful monastery of Maria Aalter near Bruges in Belgium from 14 - 18 Sep 2022. We are going to inquire as friends the deeper questions of our day to day life in a relaxed, meditative and affectionate atmosphere. The daily schedule will include short introductory talks, meditative dialogues, silent observation and listening, walks in nature. The primary intention is that our entire day becomes a meditative process by taking a complete break and allowing our minds and hearts to deeply rest, breathe and rejuvenate...
Some of the questions to be explored:
What is the art of living?
What is transformation and what can facilitate it in our daily life?
What is meditative and compassionate self-inquiry?
What is holistic awareness?
How to face the fact of being stuck in a habitual pattern and unblock oneself?
Can the mind free itself from the noise and the burden of the past so that it is quiet and new?
Arrival Date: 14 Sep. 2022 (afternoon)
Departure Date: 18 Sep. 2022 (afternoon)
Mukesh Gupta from Varanasi, India is going to facilitate this retreat. Mukesh has been exploring the fundamental questions of life and the teachings of J. Krishnamurti for more than two and a half decades. He is a traveler at heart and regularly facilitates self-inquiry based retreats, workshops and dialogues world-wide. He has studied Indian and Western Philosophies. He sees that a deep non-authoritarian meditative process of self-inquiry, based on love, listening and looking from a silent state of mind and heart, is essential to establish peace, harmony and compassion in one’s daily existence and society.
